Keen holds the minimum it needs to put plans together, and shows less. This page is the whole picture — what we collect, why, who sees it, and your rights under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).

1. What we collect

When you join the waitlist: your name, age, how you heard of Keen, and the first plan you'd post — sent through the Keen bot, together with the Telegram account you wrote from.

When you set up your profile: your display name, one to three photos (at least one showing your face), the home areas you choose, and — optionally — an email address used only for sign-in links.

As you use Keen: the plans you post (including the exact meeting spot you set), the pitches you send, your messages inside a plan's chat, confirmations, vouches and reports.

Records the service keeps: your show-up history (plans completed and no-shows), pseudonymous usage events tied to a random identifier rather than your name, and short-lived technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) kept for security and reliability.

2. How we use it

To run the product: showing plans on the board, delivering pitches, opening chats, and revealing the exact spot to the people in a plan.

To keep the board safe: reading waitlist answers, screening text automatically (section 4), and reviewing reports.

To reach you: Telegram messages about your plans and pitches, or email if you've added one. Each notification type can be switched off in settings, except a plan being called off — nobody should travel to a dead plan.

To improve Keen, using aggregated, de-identified usage. And to meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell personal data, and there is no third-party advertising on Keen.

3. What other members see

Your plan shows browsers its area, never the exact spot — that's revealed only to people you accept. Your profile shows your first name, your photos and your show-up record, and it travels only with a pitch you chose to send or a chat you opened together.

There are no DMs and no profile browsing. Pitch counts are never public.

4. Automated screening, disclosed

When you send a pitch or post a plan, the text is checked by an automated screen for harassment and intent mismatches before a human ever could be. It reads only the text of that message, decides once, and doesn't train on your words. A human reviews what it surfaces; the screen never suspends anyone on its own.

5. Who we share it with

Keen runs on a small set of service providers: cloud hosting and database infrastructure (your data is stored in Singapore), photo storage, email delivery (only if you add an email), automated text screening (the text of plans and pitches only — never your photos, chats or contact details), and privacy-respecting, pseudonymous usage analytics. Each provider processes personal data only on our instructions, for the purposes in section 2.

Telegram carries the waitlist, sign-in and notifications. Your messages with the Keen bot are also subject to Telegram's own privacy policy.

Beyond that, we disclose personal data only where the law requires it, or where the PDPA permits disclosure to protect a member's safety.

6. Where it lives

Primary storage is in Singapore. Where a provider processes data outside Singapore, we make sure it's protected to a standard comparable to the PDPA, as the act requires.

7. How long we keep it

For as long as your account is active. Delete your account from settings and it closes immediately; personal data is purged within 30 days, except what we must keep longer — safety reports under review, and records the law requires us to retain.

8. Cookies

One cookie keeps you signed in, and a small preference remembers your theme. There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

9. Your rights

Under the PDPA you may ask what personal data we hold about you and how it's been used, ask us to correct it, or withdraw consent — though withdrawing consent for what the service needs to function means closing the account.

Message the Keen bot on Telegram to exercise any of these; we respond within 30 days. If you're unsatisfied with our answer, you may complain to Singapore's Personal Data Protection Commission.

10. Eighteen and up

Keen is for adults. We don't offer the service to anyone under 18, and an underage answer on the waitlist ends the conversation there.

11. Changes

We'll post any changes here and update the date above. Material changes get notice in the product before they take effect.

12. Contact

The founder is responsible for data protection at Keen. For any question, request or concern about your data, message the Keen bot on Telegram — a human answers.
